Batmeeting will be in App Store and Google Play by June 6th.
Batmeeting is an iOs / Android game to play in the nighttime. Pet your blood-sucker bat, feed him with blood and meet other night creatures in the caves and forests.
Turn out the lights and immerge yourself in a comic goth atmosphere.
Help your pet bat survive the pitfalls of cramped labyrinth caves and tangled forests, and stay away from the light.
Blood is your fuel and your currency: never run out of it or you will feed your pet with your own blood
Ambient light breaks through the holes and the trees and lights up the game: play only when it’ dark.
Unique game experience: learn to fly like a bat, avoid obstacles catch your preys and suck their blood.
Multiplayer. But bats are not always nice among each other: you can choose whether collaborate or steal blood from other players.
Store blood you will use in the hard times. Use blood to recharge when you run out, or to buy shields, speedups, magnets, or eclipses to play during the daytime.
You’ll need blood more and more: look for bigger preys.
Batmeeting is free but has in app purchases if you need more blood.
Sometimes I remain enchanted by the random landscapes appearing in front of my eyes while developing this game.
This is just a screenshot from my editor window
My bloody bet just needed to go outside.
I tried to tell him “no, you can’t. Remain in the cave with me.”
But he wanted it so bad.
So I built a secure forest for him. A creepy thorny foggy forest in which he can only fly at night.
He appreciated. There is so much blood in the world.
We started to work at the atmosphere.
The gothic mood inspired by the pet vampire lead to us a sensational viola player who started to record the scary soundtrack
In the cold peace of silence and darkness the bloody pet has born.
The bats who dare playing with the daylight are dazzled without any mercy by terrible godrays.
More news soon
I was drawing without thinking and suddendly a strange creature appeared to my eyes. No, it wasn’t a Pokemon! But something more creepy, with an evil look in the eyes. Its face materialized under my pencil in a few seconds.
I could not see its body and so i decided to give him a spring shape. In the background a cold and scary cave started to appear behind the mist.
It looked like a mean embryo of a terribile creature.
Then my phone vibrated. I received a message: “why don’t we create a blood sucking game? Imagine a Bat flying in search of blood. Not a normal game: you can only play in the night in total darkness. ”
I looked at my drawing. An evil embryo was asking to live.
And someone have to do the job
